Sports nutrition & intuitive eating

About Me:

Zach Bennett, MS, RDN, LDN, CSSD, CSCS

Hi, I’m Zach.

I’m a board certified sports dietitian and strength professional with more than ten years of experience helping high performers feel and function at their best. I earned by Bachelor of Science in Dietetics from the University of Georgia and a Master of Science in Exercise Science from Florida State University.

My career began at the University of Georgia, where I worked with women’s basketball, tennis, and golf. From there, I completed a fellowship at the University of Michigan, supporting hockey, wrestling, and several women’s teams. I then joined the University of Texas as an assistant sports dietitian, leading nutrition programs for basketball, track and field, and later football. In 2018, I became the Director of Football Nutrition at LSU, where I was part of the 2019 national championship season and had the privilege of working with athletes like Joe Burrow, Ja’Marr Chase, Justin Jefferson, and Patrick Queen.

What drives me in this field is the chance to create lasting change. I’ve seen how the right strategies can improve performance, energy, and confidence, and I’m passionate about giving people the tools to build habits that last. Whether it’s athletes or everyday high achievers, I love helping people reach their goals in a sustainable way.

Outside of work, you can usually find me golfing, chasing my daughter Sofia, or spending time with my wife, Lauren.
