About Cheyanne

Hi there!

I'm a Registered Dietitian specializing in intuitive eating, sports nutrition, and prenatal and postpartum nutrition. I enjoy working with athletes of all ages, whether they're aiming to improve energy for recreational activities, preparing for their first race, or striving to enhance performance for competitive events.

As an International Board Certified Lactation Consultant (IBCLC), I'm also passionate about helping women optimize nutrition during pregnancy and breastfeeding so they can confidently nourish both themselves and their babies. Other areas of experience include type II diabetes, gestational diabetes, PCOS, and picky eating.

The journey

From medicine to nutrition — and finding the work that matters.

I began college pursuing medicine, but quickly realized my calling was in nutrition science. I discovered its role both in preventive care and treatment, where targeted nutrition strategies can support recovery, manage chronic conditions, and improve quality of life. I was especially drawn to how nutrition uniquely supports not only physical health, but also mental and emotional well-being.

I earned my Bachelor of Science in Public Health with a concentration in Nutrition, and my Master's degree in Nutrition and Dietetics from UNC Chapel Hill's Gillings School of Global Public Health. After graduation, I returned to eastern North Carolina to work as an outpatient dietitian. I joined local run clubs and was excited to complete my first half marathon last March — an experience that deepened my passion for sports nutrition and gave me the opportunity to put fueling strategies into practice firsthand.

I've learned how transformative intuitive eating can be — not only for improving relationships with food, but also for enhancing quality of life and fostering a sense of internal peace. I'm committed to supporting you in fueling your body well, feeling your best, and finding peace with food — helping you break free from confusion and guilt around eating, discover what truly works for your body, and build habits that support both your health and happiness.
