I'm a board certified sports dietitian and strength professional with more than ten years of experience helping high performers feel and function at their best. I earned my Bachelor of Science in Dietetics from the University of Georgia and a Master of Science in Exercise Science from Florida State University.
What drives me in this field is the chance to create lasting change. I've seen how the right strategies can improve performance, energy, and confidence — and I'm passionate about giving people the tools to build habits that last. Whether it's athletes or everyday high achievers, I love helping people reach their goals in a sustainable way.
Book a Free Connect CallFrom Georgia to LSU — ten years on the sidelines.
My career began at the University of Georgia, where I worked with women's basketball, tennis, and golf. From there, I completed a fellowship at the University of Michigan, supporting hockey, wrestling, and several women's teams. I then joined the University of Texas as an assistant sports dietitian, leading nutrition programs for basketball, track and field, and later football.
In 2018, I became the Director of Football Nutrition at LSU — where I was part of the 2019 national championship season. I had the privilege of working alongside athletes including Joe Burrow, Ja'Marr Chase, Justin Jefferson, and Patrick Queen. That season reinforced everything I believe about what nutrition can do when it is built into the culture of a program rather than added as an afterthought.
Over more than a decade working in elite collegiate athletics, I developed a clear sense of what actually moves the needle for performance — and what sustainable, evidence-based nutrition looks like in the real world, not just on paper.
Sports nutrition at the highest level.
From the sidelines at Tiger Stadium to the field at Darrell K Royal, Zach spent over a decade inside elite collegiate athletic programs — building the experience that now informs every client he works with.
What Zach specializes in.
Zach brings elite-level sports nutrition expertise to clients at every level — athletes, active adults, and high achievers who want to perform and feel their best.
Elite & Collegiate Sports Nutrition
Ten years working inside Division I programs across football, basketball, track, hockey, and more. Zach understands what fueling at the highest level actually looks like — and how to make it apply to your situation.
Performance Nutrition for Active Adults
The same principles that powered a national championship program apply to recreational athletes and high achievers. Fueling for energy, strength, recovery, and sustainable performance — built around your real schedule.
Body Composition & Strength
With dual certification in sports dietetics and strength and conditioning, Zach understands the full picture of what it takes to build and maintain the body composition that supports your goals.
Sustainable Habit Building
Long careers in elite sport taught Zach that what works is what lasts. Every plan he builds is designed around habits that hold up over months and years — not protocols that require perfect conditions to function.
Practical, evidence-based, and built to last.
After more than a decade working with elite athletes, Zach has a clear sense of what actually moves the needle — and what does not. The approach is grounded in the research, but always filtered through the question of what is genuinely sustainable for the person in front of him.
Whether he is working with a Division I football player or a recreational runner training for their first half marathon, the framework is the same: understand the individual, build around their actual demands, and focus on habits that compound over time rather than protocols that require constant willpower to maintain.
The goal is not perfection. It is a nutrition approach that works within real life — and keeps working.
