Our Partners
Fueling is one piece of the picture. These are the professionals we trust, collaborate with, and refer our clients to — because great outcomes happen when the right team is working in the same direction.
The whole athlete needs a whole team.
Nutrition doesn't exist in a vacuum. The people we partner with share our commitment to individualized, evidence-informed care — and together we can support our clients in a way that no single practice can do alone. Whether that's a run coach who keeps training smart, a massage therapist keeping the body functional, or a sport psychologist addressing what happens between the ears, these partnerships reflect relationships we believe in.
Studio Brick
Studio Brick is a boutique strength and conditioning studio in Raleigh offering private personal training, semi-private sessions, and small group classes for athletes and active people at every level. Their programming is built on periodization and progressive overload — designed to develop strength, mobility, and physical fitness that transfers directly to sport performance and a longer, healthier life in your body.
Strength training is a meaningful part of injury prevention and long-term performance, especially for runners and endurance athletes. Fuel NC and Studio Brick share clients who want both pieces working together, ensuring what you're eating is supporting the work you're doing in the gym.
Run Raleigh PT and Performance
Run Raleigh PT is not your typical physical therapy clinic. Based at 1107 Capital Blvd in Raleigh, their team works one-on-one with athletes and active individuals to not just treat injuries but prevent them — using gait analysis, 3D motion capture, manual therapy, functional dry needling, and corrective exercise to address the root cause of problems rather than the symptom alone. They also offer VO2 max and resting metabolic rate testing, making them a full performance partner, not just a rehab clinic.
Run Raleigh PT and Fuel NC operate in the same building and share a philosophy: individualized, evidence-informed care that takes the whole athlete seriously. For clients recovering from injury, working through biomechanical issues, or wanting objective performance data to build a training and nutrition plan around, Run Raleigh PT is the first call.
Pace of Me Coaching
Pace of Me is a women-owned personal run coaching business in the Triangle with one of the most respected coaching communities in the area. Their team of certified coaches offers 1:1 coaching, custom training plans, monthly strength programming, and a culture built around science-backed training and genuine human support — for runners of every pace, at every stage of the journey.
The connection between smart training and smart fueling is direct. Fuel NC and Pace of Me share athletes across both practices, ensuring nutrition plans and training plans are built in the same direction rather than at odds with each other.
Camellia Culinary Consultation
Knowing what to eat is one thing. Having someone come into your home and make it happen is another. Camellia Culinary is a nutritionally-tailored, in-home meal prep service built around the idea that food is culture, community, and care. Their team works with families, athletes, and busy individuals to reduce food stress and make home-cooked meals a consistent reality, not an occasional event.
For Fuel NC clients navigating a heavy training cycle and struggling to get adequate nutrition in through the week, Camellia is a practical extension of the plan — turning the fueling strategy into actual food in your refrigerator.
Enlightened Touch
Enlightened Touch is a Raleigh-based massage therapy practice offering deep tissue massage, myofascial release, cupping, and instrument-assisted soft tissue mobilization (IASTM). Their therapists work with athletes and active people to address chronic tension, improve mobility, break down scar tissue, and support recovery from the accumulated demands of training.
Recovery has a physical dimension that nutrition alone can't address. For athletes carrying the load of a full training block, consistent soft tissue work is part of how the body stays healthy across an entire season — and Enlightened Touch is who we trust to do that work.
Work It Out Consulting — Dr. Michelle Joshua, Ph.D.
Dr. Michelle Joshua is a licensed sport and performance psychologist with 20+ years of experience working with collegiate and professional athletes, coaches, and high performers. A former Division I student-athlete herself, Dr. Joshua specializes in helping people develop the self-awareness, mental tools, and growth mindset needed to perform at their best and thrive beyond the sport.
The mental and nutritional dimensions of performance are deeply intertwined — eating disorders, disordered eating, emotional eating, and stress responses all sit at their intersection. For clients where both dimensions are in play, Dr. Joshua and Fuel NC work in the same direction, providing complementary support that addresses the whole picture.
What these partnerships mean for you
Shared direction
The professionals we partner with know how we work. That means referrals go to people who understand your goals and won't contradict the work you're doing with us.
Whole-person care
Nutrition addresses one layer. Training, recovery, and mental performance address others. Together they produce better outcomes than any single practice can on its own.
Trusted referrals only
We only list partners we've personally worked alongside and trust. If we refer you to someone, it's because we believe they're the right fit — not a formality.
