On The Table was born from a very personal challenge. Ella, a dietitian, found herself navigating ongoing gut health issues and realized that preparing more meals at home might be one of the most impactful ways to improve her health. The problem? She wasn’t sure where to start—or how to stay consistent and accountable. The first idea was to create a podcast or YouTube channel where she would self-deprecatingly document a year-long journey of teaching herself how to meal prep. But – would the food taste good?
Fast forward to meeting Celeste! Ella and Celeste met at a doctor’s appointment for their children. As fellow twin moms, they immediately hit it off and quickly discovered an almost unbelievable list of shared experiences: both are dietitians, both are twin moms, both graduated from the same program at the UNC-Chapel Hill Gillings School of Public Health, and both were building their own businesses. Did we mention they are also both dairy free? Haha
When Ella learned that Celeste is also a professional chef, she was so excited! It became clear that they would make the perfect team. What started as a simple idea has grown into something much bigger. We’ve had so much fun bringing On The Table to life through countless meetings, conversations, laughs, shared stories, and collaborations. We’re incredibly excited to share it with you!
